About ME

Namit Nayak has been with Sapient since 2013,   wearing many technical hats and evolving roles and responsibilities over these years. He has 11+ years of experience painting technical solutions for highly complex problems across the QSR, FS, and Retail industry domains. Currently playing the role of Senior Mobile Specialist, overseeing the mobile application loyalty program implementation for one of the largest QSR in the world. By providing solutions and design architecture for complex business needs and solutions across more than 1000 features. Responsible for managing the   technical deployment to multiple countries like Canada, USA, Germany and UK.
Namit acts cross-functionally, digging into design reviews with UX designers   and business workshopping sessions to best understand the customer problem;   leveraging these insights to holistically draft a feasible and comprehensive technical solution. Experienced in drafting Presales RFP requests, leveraging his broad industry knowledge and competitive analysis to provide Digital   Transformation solution to client. His passion for technology drives his   constant growth-focused mindset, exemplified by his participation in several technical Hackathon sessions, publishing internal company blog posts on emerging technology, and his nomination to speak in a global company summit   on Machine Learning.
Aside from Namit's proven technical ability, he has great managerial and   leadership skills by leading with empathy and respect.

Job Duties:

Architecture & Design:

Responsible for design and architecture of the GMA Mobile App
Design Modular-based layer architecture for QSR industry.
Lead design team and work with clients to create the needed artifacts and connect with market VPs to consume the correct requirement. Responsible for choosing the needed technology stack based on the functional, non-functional requirements and based on other factors like client drivers, environment, and feasibility.
Invovled in end to end solutions of more than 1000 epics in QSR industry.
Lead Loyalty Rewards , Mobile Ordering program in QSR industry
Involved in the Mobile App Release in Market (Appstore or PlayStore) and also perform the gap analysis between business requirements and the package features and design the configuration, customizations, extensions, interfaces required to meet the requirements

Planning Tracking & Estimation:

Help PM to develop the overall plan for the Mobile Application project using the expertise in the field of Software Development Life Cycle (Agile Methodology)
Determine the right architecture which can be leverage.
Work with project manager to create staffing plans based on required skill set.
Undertake estimation of the project in terms of time.
Present alternative approaches for project estimates and scope decisions that meet client’s objectives.

Create long-term roadmap for application evolution and get buy-in:

Involved in the Architecture Evaluation on the upcoming changes in Mobile Technology.
Involved in IOTA work for bringing technology weight for bringing digital experience
Involved in Discovery sessions (ideabox) where leveraging the digital to connect it with Apple Watch, Samsung Watch, Apple TV & Beacons so that it can be presented to McDonald's.
Involved in Machine Learning and AI usage for customer based application

Team Management

Manage a small to medium sized team and resolve issues and dependencies in the team.

• Review the key objectives of projects and clarify the linkage of tasks to the overall objectives

• Responsible for performance assessment and working with the team for creating growth plans

• Effectively communicate with the team on a periodic basis the company strategy, important events

• Coach and mentor the team to help deliver to the client expectation

• Actively participate in, and assists with, company events such as hiring, training and internal initiatives.

Issue and Risk Management

Derive and drive issue and risk resolution solutions to ensure effective delivery and mitigation of the business impact.

• Ensure that regular risk reviews of the project take place; prepare materials for risk review meetings

Quality and Adherence to Processes:

Promotes the value of project processes and establishes these processes on the project

• Drive the compliance of SLAs and make strategies to overcome non-compliance

• Drive corrective measures proactively if non-compliance is observed in the project

• Monitor the quality of work
